Latin Caribbean Grooves

I’m not a die-hard record collector of one particular band or music.

I can proudly say that punk/hardcore music was the biggest impact on me but I listen to almost any sort of genre.
After going through Jamaican music records for years, I decided to take a step further and discover more about the world of Latin/Carribean music:
Cumbia, guaguanco, descarga, guaracha, boogaloo, salsa, bossa nova, calypso, mambo, cha cha cha, merengue, bolero and all that.

Not too long ago, I came cross this dude selling some latin/caribbean 45s with his Jamaican vintages on eBay.
He had a sample clip for each record so I listened to one of the cumbia 45s. and it was a killer. It fired me up.

The problem with this particular genre especially the ones from the 60’s and 70’s is that theres almost NO info on the internet;
Well maybe there is but in language that I don’t understand.
So I have to go through every record to find my favorite groove.

I’m still new to this type of music so lets see how I do.
